Crone Mother Kryza, deceased after the events at the Blackstar Orbital Station, was the mother of a Veer-myn nest
Biography
Over countless cycles, the Crone Mother had lived through numerous threats to herself and to her children. Human kill squads. Poisoned food. Neocrete walls. Gas bombs. But her nest had always found a way to survive - until the Forge Father ships came. As fire rained down on Elphir IV, a coterie of her most devoted children had smuggled the Mother aboard a fleeing corporate transport ship. Many of their brethren had followed behind them. But to where would they flee?
The ship they had taken shelter on already had a small colony aboard. Most were refugees like the Mother. It was one of these others that showed her the way. This Technoratus, a survivor of another distant, destroyed nest, dared to approach the Crone and share with her his vision. Its name was ‘Blackstar’ and, as soon as she saw it, the Crone Mother knew she would do anything to make it her own, just as Technoratus Thorn had hoped.
The Crone Mother was a survivor. Over countless cycles she has protected her nest but the time for retreating is over. She did make a stand against any who threatened her brood, but at Blackstar, she found her demise at the hands of mercenaries including Sergeant Ugurik and Arkoline.
Her Nest however did survive and was able to flee with two of her offspring, making their way to Magnetar and founding a new nest. These Volt Chasers now are known as the 'Surge and Destroy'.
