Ada-Lorana were recognised as peacekeepers and arbiters on worlds far beyond the edges of corporate space long before man’s first interstellar voyage. Their activities within the GCPS have, so far, largely been confined to the gathering of intelligence.
Many Ada-Lorana currently play DreadBall for corporately sponsored teams. They present themselves as mere cultural ambassadors, both glad and privileged to be part of the corporate world, and there is no doubting their skill on the pitch. Behind the scenes, the Ada-Lorana’s GCPS Taskforce is making good use of the access their fame gives them.
They use their ability to phase through walls and bypass security measures to surreptitiously gather evidence of wrong-doing, and build a case for judicial action against the leaders of the GCPS.
What standard they will apply in any eventual prosecution is something only they know - as is their capacity to enforce it. A new High Investigator has just been assigned to lead the Ada-Lorana within the GCPS and he is known to be keen on bringing the observation phase of the operation to a close.
The Ada-Lorana act as caretakers of the synthetic planetoid Omnicron.
