Dr Remy Urovic was one of the scientists responsible for unleashing the Plague on Nexus Psi.

Dr Urovic was the project lead of Exploration/Retrieval Team Six-Alpha on Nexus Psi. Despite his deputy's protests, chose to eschew standard safety protocols in favour of moving the artefact as quickly as possible back to Outpost W4 for research. This simple act sealed the fate of the planet.
The artefact activated mid-transport and transformed Dr Urovic into something new… new, violent and incredibly dangerous. Transformed into a Stage 1 Plague Lord, he hunted down the survivors and after two weeks broke the defenses of his former deputy, Dr Gayle Simmonds.
After she turned, the fight wasn't over. After tracking her to Outpost H36, he once again met resistance taking the facility, though disturbingly, that resistance came from other Plague forces und Dr Simmonds command.
It was clear that Urovic’s forces had met resistance taking the facility, though disturbingly, that resistance seemed to have come from other Plague forces. It is not uncommon for Plague forces to turn on one another, but this was personal.
When Enforcer units arrived at Nexus Psi in force, a large Strike Force was immediately routed to meet up with Recon Unit N32-19, who had tracked down the supposed leader of the Plague and what followed was the swift and complete destruction of Dr Urovic.
