Holt Starmaker is the CEO of the Starmaker Corporation and currently trying to court Marissa von Drakenhof
Biography
Elevation to the Council of Seven is a rare privilege and there are many within the GCPS that covet the position. Holt Starmaker is perhaps closer to it than most.
Holt inherited leadership of the Starmaker Corporation at the age of thirty-five, following the death of his mother and father. The Starmakers are listed in official incident records as having fallen foul of Zeppelin sharks while diving off the coast of Albanus on their homeworld of Harmony IV but the partially-eaten corpses pulled from the sea were not the fishiest thing about the case.
Since then, Holt has aggressively increased the holdings of the Starmaker Corp, first by moving into the munitions business with the acquisition of Gersher Peace Inc., and then by moving into the worlds around Harmony IV, using Gersher weaponry to rout the occupying corporations.
Starmaker now controls a considerable portion of the eastern rim of the GCPS, and it is perhaps this geographical isolation more than lack of ambition or ammunition that keeps greater power out of Holt’s grasp. Starmaker’s fleet of troop movers is rumoured to be growing and, if his courtship of Marissa von Drakenhof proves successful, he may find himself in a position to challenge for greater authority in the GCPS as fast as the heads of two heavily-armed families can say ‘I do’.
