'X-02-A' is a Chovar that was held captive on Eiras by Mazon Labs
Biography
In the years since its capture as part of a rebel cell operating in the Fifth Sphere, the Chovar now labelled ‘X-02-A’ has lost practically everything. Cognosis dampeners have silenced the psychic voices of all other Chovar and electric shackles hold it immobile, stunning its tendrils into numbness if it ever stirs from its half-awake state, its everlasting nightmare. All it hears now is the constant whirring of the machines that keep it trapped but alive, all it feels are the data input nodes driven painfully deep into its body.
It is a shell of a thing, albeit a useful one to its masters. Its personality has been suppressed so deeply as to be practically non-existent and replaced with the soul of the facility that holds it. It is a thing of rage and pain and hatred, a witness to innumerable horrors perpetrated by its captors. Killing it would be a mercy but perhaps also the only way to release the shred of self that still clings to existence deep within X-02-A’s gelatinous core.
X-02-A may have been one of the first Organic Data units, but after it's usefulness was made clear, more were used by Mazon Labs in combat situations. These powerful psychic beings are captured and tortured by Mazon Labs to become nothing more than organic hard drives, trapped in a constant nightmare of computerized coding.
