A Ichiban Trooper Version 32.3 strike team covertly hacked into Corporation Central’s closed information systems. It mutinied against its commanders and launched an unauthorised assault on Vardar Prime - the headquarters of Tolvit-Hathway and home to its CEO and Council member Eskander Hurte. Hurte was not at his residence at the time but his entire staff and household were massacred by the renegade troopers before the estate was vaporised by a high yield antimatter bomb within the HQ building, apparently placed there as a last ditch security measure.
